Charming, comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation on the outskirts of Malaga City.
Casa Pinares is ideally placed for enjoying a short break in the fascinating city of Malaga, or as your home base for a longer stay exploring the beauties of Andalucia.
Situated in the pinewoods on the slopes of the twin-peaked mountain that overlooks the city, Pinares de San Anton has become the most sought-after area of Malaga in which to live. At Casa Pinares you will find a refuge from the heat and bustle of the city, yet we are only a five-minute drive from the beach and the famous fish restaurants of El Palo, and 15 minutes from the city centre - and we are just 20 minutes by car from Malaga airport.
When you have finished exploring the delights of the city, you can relax by the pool or sip a glass of wine on one of our shady terraces. If you're feeling really energetic you can make the climb to the summit of San Anton for a stunning panorama of the city and the Bay of Malaga.
And if this is not enough, you can watch - or even try your hand at - the making of natural soaps and spa products. Casa Pinares is home to the La Finca Natural Bodycare workshop, where olive, almond, sunflower and citrus oils are turned into gorgeous natural products. What better souvenirs to take back from your holiday!
After a hectic life working in Egypt, Austria, Poland and Brazil, we returned to the UK to run a Language School and Guest House. After David's early retirement we decided we missed living abroad and did the "place in the sun" move to Spain, where Ged built up a small business producing natural soaps and skincare - a long-term interest. When a major client closed down we decided we needed a new challenge, and since everyone who visits us sits on the terrace and sighs "Ah, a little piece of paradise!" we remembered how much we had enjoyed being B&B hosts in the UK (we were Highly Commended by the BTA and the Ipswich Tourist Office) and Casa Pinares was born!
We love sharing our house with people who, we hope, "come as guests and leave as friends", and our aim is to help you enjoy this fascinating part of Spain as we do. Having started this venture in Summer 2009 and had a number of visitors, all very appreciative of what we are able to offer, we had successful seasons in 2010 and 2011 and are looking forward to receiving yet more guests in 2012.
We look forward to welcoming you here soon!
